About
Lois S. Plymale, AIA NCARB
Florida AR97196
My approach to this profession is as a problem solver, at its essence architecture is problem solving, then implementing solutions that work. Good design is central to the process that integrates site, aesthetics, sustainability, economy, structure and building systems into a unique set of solutions tailored for the client’s needs.
I bring a skill set of life experience, design talent and technical proficiency. I have worked in two and three dimensional AutoCad for seventeen years. I am proficient Revit, in three-dimensional computer modeling, currently utilizing Revit 2016.
A part of my professional career was spent working for and with structural engineers, developing structural insight and communication abilities beyond that of a typical architectural designer. My introduction to structural was through Historic Preservation, I enjoy analyzing and understanding an existing system how to integrate new systems required to bring repurposing of that building to fruition.
